The LW Hexagon 8.8 Orquídea is an entry-level padel racket designed with a more feminine aesthetic, primarily characterized by its excellent control. Combined with high bounce and impressive ball exit speed, it allows beginners to quickly improve their game.
This racket is constructed with a 38mm low-hardness EVA HYPERSOFT core laminated with fiberglass layers. The heart is reinforced with carbon fiber fabric, impregnated with Varlion's exclusive VAR-FLEX epoxy resin, and coated with titanium dioxide.
The LW Hexagon 8.8 Orquídea is crafted in a round shape or LW (Lethal Weapon) design, aimed at maximizing control with a low balance and a wide sweet spot. This is particularly beneficial for players who spend a lot of time in the back of the court.
The racket features the Aerodynamic Drilling system, which avoids drilling the center of the racket to reduce turbulence. This enhances core resistance and hit uniformity, increasing the racket's sweet spot.
Handlesafety is the security system integrated into the racket's handle. Unlike traditional methods that use a centered hole, Handlesafety ensures that the cord passes through both walls of the handle, preventing the racket from detaching from the cord. This design also provides extra wrist comfort.
