The LW Prisma Carbon 3 is a 2024 reedition of the famous LW Carbon 3, the best-selling racket in history, renowned for its outstanding quality, performance, and durability. This new version retains these characteristics while incorporating the latest Varlion technologies to create an exceptional product.
This racket is made using a bidirectional carbon tube. The core is a 38mm low-hardness EVA SOFTCOLOR CORE, laminated with layers of carbon and fiberglass, and reinforced with carbon fiber. All fabrics are impregnated with Varlion's exclusive VAR-FLEX epoxy resin and coated with titanium dioxide.
The LW Prisma Carbon 3 features a round shape or LW (Lethal Weapon) design, intended to maximize control with a low balance and a wide sweet spot, benefiting players who receive a high volume of balls in the back of the court.
The racket utilizes the Aerodynamic Drilling system, which avoids drilling the center to reduce turbulence. This enhances core resistance and hit uniformity, increasing the racket's sweet spot.
The Softcolor innovation adds an aesthetic touch by coloring the rubber to match the racket's design, giving the LW Prisma Carbon 3 a colorful, elegant, and modern look.
The Summum technology brings three factors that enhance the racket's performance:
- Longer handle (14.5cm compared to the usual 12.5cm), providing a more comfortable grip and extra ease for players who perform two-handed backhands.
- 1 cm longer hitting surface, offering the largest hitting area in a professional racket, improving control and responsiveness.
- Improved Diffusor Wings technology, an aerodynamically enhanced diffuser that offers better maneuverability and precision.
The Prisma frame is designed to minimize damage when the racket strikes the wall or glass. Its prism shape reduces the contact area by up to 90% and improves air resistance by 10%, offering greater maneuverability and acceleration in hits.
For added safety, the LW Prisma Carbon 3 includes an adhesive protector that fits perfectly on this unique frame.
Handlesafety is the security system integrated into the racket's handle. Unlike traditional methods that use a centered hole, Handlesafety ensures that the cord passes through both walls of the handle, preventing the racket from detaching from the cord.
